Global Brand Design received a development target to improve department members presentation and public speaking skills. This development goal was too important for the collective department to let it become a box-checking exercise, so I explored outside the box. Improvisational speaking became my spark. After connecting with two improvisational speaking educators from Stanford's Business School, I pitched an idea for our department to take their Think Fast / Talk Smart workshop. The experience pushed people out of their comfort zones and inspired team members to learn public speaking skills in a memorable way.
